Dr. Christina Klein Pramudji, MD - Specialist In Urology For Women

About Us

MEET DR. PRAMUDJI

Dr. Christina Klein Pramudji, with 15+ years of experience as a urology specialist, has a unique medical practice as Houston's only female urologist who sees female patients only. All too often, women think that only men see urologists and women see gynecologists. Not so. Not only do urologists treat women as well as men, but you have found the only urology office in Texas that is focused completely on females.

Dr. Pramudji is trained in medical and surgical urological services for females of all ages, from 5 to 105 years old, with any simple or complex urologic condition. She has performed over 2,000 incontinence and prolapse surgeries to alleviate leaking and dropping bladders, utilizing the "Gold Standard" treatments of midurethral sling and robotic surgery, in addition to vaginal prolapse repair with or without a biological or mesh graft, tailored to what the patient needs. Dr. Pramudji also routinely does natural tissue repairs.

Dr. Pramudji offers several options conveniently in her office for incontinence, including Interstim sacral neuromodulation, the Urgent PC posterior tibial nerve stimulator, bladder Botox, and Pelvic Floor Muscle Training, such as biofeedback or the Intone device. She will help you determine the best course of treatment for you.

Dr. Pramudji treats kidney stones with non-invasive lithotripsy (ESWL), laser or nephroscopy. Urinary tract infection is a common condition that she deals with daily, and she is familiar and comfortable treating painful bladder conditions, such as interstitial cystitis. Office cystoscopy allows the early detection of bladder cancer.

Dr. Pramudji completed her General Surgery Internship from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX in 1997, and earned her Urology Residency Training from the Baylor College of Medicine in 2002. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL in 1996, completing a competitive one year Howard Hughes Research Grant while there. Prior to entering the medical field, Dr. Pramudji received a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA in 1991 on a full President's Scholarship, graduating Cum Laude.

Dr. Pramudji was born in Irving, Texas and is married to Ari Pramudji, a patent attorney with his own law practice, and has two beautiful and precious children, Zane and Arianna.
